Products: Paymentshield updates its online system

Paymentshield has announced an investment of over £2m in its Inertia Online System, and an overhaul of its insurer panel, in a bid to enhance the products and services it offers to brokers.

This will include offering intermediaries a choice of household insurance quotations from a panel of insurers.

In particular, the company’s current home insurance product for both new and existing customers will see an increase in contents sum, as well as the introduction of a single stage complaints process.

Tim Johnson, chief executive of Paymentshield, admitted that the system needed improvement and said there would be a series of changes made to its products.
