Products: F&R unveils oil-fired heating scheme
Grantham-based F&R Associates has unveiled a home emergency scheme for oil-fired central heating systems to be sold under its Cover My Business brand.
There are reported to be two million households in the UK that have oil-fired central heating systems and, according to the underwriter UK General, while home emergency insurance exists for them, it can be hard to source.
The distribution profile will be wholly through fuel providers and the broker and underwriter are already in discussion about product extensions, including to cover land contaminated on the owner’s property. At the moment customers are only covered for contamination of
