E-commerce: Insurers urged to make MTA and renewal options available online
Brokers have called for insurers to include mid-term adjustment (MTA) and renewal facilities as part of their online small commercial offerings.
At a recent Allianz breakfast briefing CBG account handler, Louise Charles, spoke of her frustration at being unable to complete MTAs online with most insurers she worked with.
"I feel that where we can best impress our clients is with fast and efficient quotations and the ability to issue new business/renewal documents; unfortunately we are currently being let down on the MTAs," she explained.
