As we move into the Christmas season and on into 2017 some well-worn topics have come to the fore again. I didn’t think that IPT would crop up quite so soon. I thought it would go up eventually, but having been increased twice recently I mistakenly believed there would be a pause before the next hike. The chancellor and the Treasury have clearly gotten used to a steady income stream that, unlike other fiscal projections, pretty much delivers what it promises. The only way to avoid the tax is not
