Mark Weil and Phil Barton hail Jelf’s “unique position”

Organic growth and reorganisation takes Jelf turnover to £120m.

Mark Weil, UK and Ireland CEO at Marsh, took up the post in September 2012 joining from sister company management consultants Oliver Wyman where he was head of financial services for EMEA.

His first action was to instigate an eight week review. By the end of this he knew he wanted Marsh to buy Jelf.

It was a process that ultimately took three years.
