One online story rather caught my eye last month. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced that it will consult before the end of the year on the introduction of a deadline for consumers to make their payment protection insurance (PPI) complaints.
This comes with its own pros and cons. There is a further element to the announcement though that may really wind brokers up – the FCA will also be asking about funding a consumer communications campaign.
Nobody is arguing that the public
