Axa are the latest insurer to announce potential redundancies (p.3). They are by no means alone in this but if the results of our exclusive claims service survey (p. 30-32) are anything to go by, staff cuts are exactly the kind of thing insurers should be avoiding, although Axa insists the move is not about cost-cutting.

It's no surprise that the composites came near the bottom of the list in the survey. It appears from broker feedback that what makes all the difference when it comes to service
