So this probably wasn't the face you were expecting to see and, admittedly, I'm far less easy on the eye, but Michelle Worvell has moved to pastures new and passed the baton on to me.

I was thinking about what to write for my first comment piece: state of the market, the lot of the smaller broker, the quiet that has descended upon the consolidator scene. There was plenty to choose from and I was mulling over the pros and cons of each one when the Tories dropped a peach in my lap.

So they're
