Will distribution margins wilt under the spotlight, again?

Distribution margins for insurance intermediaries are again the subject of intense investigation. The Competition Commission is to look at the selling of loan protection insurance and the Financial Services Authority (FSA) has said that disclosure of commission for brokers will be the major issue of 2007. The outcome is unknown at the moment but past events suggest there is often a payback time for greed and taking advantage of consumer naivety.
