Despite the fact that the British Insurers' Brokers Association (Biba) is promoting itself and the merits of using brokers to the public, it seems that the number of call centre referrals have drastically declined since it outsourced its consumer call centre last year.
I was extremely surprised when our company received a letter from Rockpool recently - which I understand is the outsourced company that Biba uses for its call centre. It offered to sell us leads, which obviously confused me.
