FCA issues warning over Halifax and Penn
Regulator says the Yorkshire-based travel, car, life and home insurance provider is “unauthorised”.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has warned that company Halifax and Penn has been providing financial services or products in the UK without its authorisation.
The firm's website states that it offers home, car, life and home insurance. It also says it specialises in public and employers' liability cover.
The regulator said in a statement: "We believe this firm has been providing financial services or products in the UK without our authorisation."
