Hiscox launches security policy

Product protects against threats as diverse as terrorism, bribery, extortion and industrial espionage.

Hiscox has revealed a security incident response (SIR) policy which it said had been designed to combat the serious risks that companies face such as cyber, political, regulatory, cyber and terrorism threats.

According to the insurer the product can help firms fulfil their duty of care obligations to protect people, operations, shareholder value and long-term brand and reputation.

Perils
Hiscox explained that the SIR policy indemnifies against a broad range of perils including: criminal risks
