Pukka looks to move into private car

Specialist van MGA has also picked up some business from the collapse of Enterprise.

Pukka, the managing general agent (MGA) set up this year to provide commercial van insurance, is looking to move into the private car market, Insurance Age can reveal.

The firm also has its sights set on carrier, fleet and motorbike business.

Pukka founder, Sam White, who is also CEO of Cheadle-based claims management company Action 365, told Insurance Age: "The plan is to try and get private car capacity and increase our footprint.

"We do van now but would like a foray into private car."
