Acquisition market “alive again”

Former Macquarie lending experts sees M&A increasing through 2017 as brokers seek to grow.

Gary Moore, Broker Finance director, has predicted that M&A in the broking sector is set to escalate.

Moore, who worked at Macquarie for 11 years and has just returned following a stint in Australia, stated: "The acquisition market is alive again. Generally it is the large corporates making acquisitions backed by private equity, for example PIB, Integro which have the money to make acquisitions.
