UK General ordered to review AR arrangements

It is believed that the insurer has stopped its appointed representatives (ARs) from selling general insurance products.

UK General must look into alleged mis-selling by its appointed representatives (ARs) and have a third party conduct a "skilled person" report into it, a source revealed to our sister title Post. 

The source told Post that UK General has stopped its ARs from selling general insurance products.

A spokesperson for UK General told Post: "UK General never comments on regulatory speculation of this nature."

The FCA declined to comment.
