Majority of FCA systems now available again
Hardware incident on Friday knocked out regulator’s systems.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has confirmed that the majority of its systems are now operating again after an incident disabled its technology.
The downtime started on Friday when a "major IT incident" occurred at a supplier's data centre.
On Sunday the regulator stated that most of the issues from the physical hardware problem had been resolved.
Recovery arrangements
The watchdog reported: "We put in place our recovery arrangements and they have operated as planned."
