Companies House filing reveals amendments to accounting calculations.

The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) delivered an 8.8% rise in turnover to £5.99m in 2015.

Biba's chief executive Steve White told Insurance Age that the uplift, on figures calculated on a restated base of 2014, was due to more than the "small" increase in fees at the start of the year.

"We grew membership in 2015 and the commercial team that we started to put in place in 2014 was complete," he said.

"They were able to hit the ground running in 2015."
