Zurich to cut senior roles

Insurer will cut 380 executive roles as part of restructure.

Zurich is to cut 20% of its executive roles from across the global business affecting 350 based in the UK.

A spokesperson confirmed that executives based in the UK would be affected, but explained: "In the UK, there are a number of Zurich employees who are employed in Group roles, but happen to be based in the UK. It is this type of role which we're currently looking at."

The insurer does not expect the roles to be UK broker facing.
