County Group buys G R Plimbley

Acquisition is County Group's second this year.

The County Group has completed its second acquisition for the year by buying Staffordshire-based insurance broker G R  Plimbley for an undisclosed amount.

The firm said its latest acquisition follows the buy of George Williams Insurance Services, which specialised in providing insurance for the commercial sector earlier this year. This was its fourth buy in seven months.

Its most recent buy of family business, G R Plimbley, founded in 1958 brings the County Group's branch network to 18 locations
