Brokerbility’s Mistry “surprised” by Brexit result

Brokerbility chairman appeals for calm and says brokers need to watch how the insurers will react.

Brokerbility chairman Ashwin Mistry has stated that he was "surprised" by the result of the Brexit vote which saw 52 percent of UK voters elect to leave the EU.

He revealed he was in the Remain camp because "you are better off with the devil you know".

Mistry said that brokers should now be watching to see how insurers react and finding out how their customers feel.

He added: "I think there is shock and over-reaction. It is worth giving people a few days and then decide how best to navigate
