Towergate: 18 month target to solve legacy issues

David Ross

Towergate management to meet today to discuss relationship with Gable.

Towergate's legacy unit is aiming to solve the legacy issues within the business in 18 months according to group CEO David Ross.

Ross told Insurance Age that "the purpose of the legacy unit is to put itself into a state of redundancy."

He praised Sarah Dalgarno as the natural choice to lead that area of the business and advised that once the problems were solved she would move back into her role as chief risk officer.

Ross advised that he was "delighted" with the first quarter results for 2016.
