Neil Thornton added to Bluefin vs GRP, Bruce and others case
Former head of commercial division becomes fifth defendant in ‘team move’ court case and trial will now be on 27 June.
A judge has agreed to add Neil Thornton as the fifth defendant in the court case which has seen Bluefin accuse its former CEO Mike Bruce and others of a conspiracy to poach staff for his new employer Global Risk Partners (GRP).
Thornton is currently on gardening leave until this September and was head of the commercial division at Bluefin.
His appointment as managing director of GRP's retail broking business was announced last October.
