Markel unveils policy to protect firms against technological risks

Markel International has launched a policy called Fintech to protect businesses in the rapidly growing financial technology sector.

The product covers a wide range of businesses such as trading platforms, forex platforms and peer-to-peer crowdfunding sites according to the specialist insurer.

Markel noted the policy protects clients against the key risks of professional liability, directors and officers, and theft and cyber liability while highlighting that technology, personal data and money
