ERS targets sub-90% COR
CEO Ian Parker says broker-only strategy to remain in place.
ERS' CEO Ian Parker has insisted that the insurer is to keep its motor only, broker only strategy in place as it looks to achieve organic growth over the next few years.
Parker told Insurance Age that he was pleased with the results for 2015 which saw the company achieve a combined operating ratio (COR) below 100% (99.8%) for the first time since 2009 and profit of £6m.
"I think it is a good achievement," he said. "In terms of where we are in our turnaround it is good for everyone to see us
