Generali chief executive Mario Greco is reportedly being lined up as the new CEO of Zurich Group.

A report in Reuters suggests Greco, who worked for Zurich before joining Generali, could make a return to the Swiss company in February.

Zurich is on the lookout for a new CEO after Martin Senn left the role in December.

The insurer said at the time that Senn, who had been with the insurer for ten years with six of those as chief executive, was leaving by "mutual agreement".
