Fisher to “drive professionalism” in CII role

CII has “struck gold” with her appointment and Fisher is expected to drive professionalism agenda and build on foundations laid by Sandy Scott.

The insurance sector has welcomed Sian Fisher's appointment as CEO of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Reg Brown, who appointed Sandy Scott as president and is a board member of the Managing General Agent's Association (MGAA), said he was "over the moon" with Fisher's appointment.

"I was the president that appointed Sandy Scott and I think he has done a brilliant job. Sian Fisher will bring a fresh and younger mind to the role."
