Sian Fisher appointed CEO of the CII

Fisher to start on 1 February with Sandy Scott retiring at the end of March.

Sian Fisher has been appointed as the successor to Sandy Scott as chief executive of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), Insurance Age can reveal.

Scott's decision to retire was announced in March last year.

Fisher will take up the post on 1 February with Scott leaving the CII at the end of March.

In an internal memo seen by Insurance Age, the president of the CII, Robert Fletcher, said he was delighted at the appointment after a rigorous selection process.
