PIB hires Ryan Brown as CFO from Towergate

Brown will work on PIB's acquisition plans.

PIB Insurance Brokers has appointed Ryan Brown, who was formerly at Towergate, as its new group chief financial officer.

He will report to PIB's chief executive officer Brendan McManus and work with him to drive the execution of the broking firm's acquisition plans.

PIB, which was founded in 2014, agreed to sell a "significant equity stake" to global alternative asset manager The Carlyle Group in December.
