Aviva appoints Lindsey Rix as personal lines MD

Rix replaces Steve Treloar who left last month.

Aviva has appointed Lindsey Rix as managing director of its UK General Insurance (UKGI) personal lines business.

Rix has replaced Steve Treloar whose move to LV to take over from John O'Roarke as managing director for general insurance was announced in November.

She will report to Maurice Tulloch, chief executive officer for UKGI at Aviva.

Rix joined Aviva in September 2014 as chief operating officer for UKGI.

In her new role she will be responsible for Aviva's UKGI personal lines business
