Cobra UK & Ireland completes MBO
Management buyout sees directors take over 100% of the Manchester-based broker which was acquired by Cobra Holdings in 2008.
Directors of Cobra UK & Ireland have completed a 100% management buyout of the business from Cobra Holdings.
The cost of the MBO was undisclosed.
The broker, which is based in Altrincham near Manchester and was bought by Cobra Holdings in 2008, will revert to its historic name of UK & Ireland Insurance Services.
Cobra confirmed that the business would remain a member of the Cobra Network and would continue to trade with the Cobra Group.
