Richard Shannon, client money and IBA chief, departs Towergate

Shannon to be replaced by Nigel Dearsley from Howden.

Richard Shannon, insurer brokerage accounts (IBA) and client money director at Towergate is to leave after 11 years with the business, Insurance Age can reveal.

Shannon has had a number of roles at the company for both the broking division and with Broker Network.

According to an internal memo seen by Insurance Age, Shannon will be replaced by Nigel Dearsley who will join Towergate on 1 October to take over the leadership of the IBA centre in Leeds.
