Take-up of SME e-trading by brokers increasing
Applied Systems event heard there are still obstacles with mid-range brokers lagging behind.
The uptake of e-trading by brokers for SME business is increasing significantly according to an insurer roundtable held by software company Applied Systems.
Panellists at the central London event noted that the obstacles to the adoption of e-trading include a lack of awareness of its benefits.
Jason Bridgman, head of eCommerce at Axa Commercial, said: "If you look at the numbers year-on-year not just within Axa but collectively, they are starting to really really significantly grow.
