James Tugendhat steps away from direct role at Towergate
Janice Deakin unveils new structure and leadership team at Towergate.
James Tugendhat has ended his stint as chief executive officer of Towergate Direct having joined in February 2014.
According to the firm he made the decision some time ago and will continue to work with Janice Deakin, CEO of insurance broking, to support her with the leadership team and help shape the "overall agenda".
The news came as Deakin, who joined last month, revealed developments for two divisions - retail and advisory.

The advisory division, consisting of 80 broking branches
