Up to 12 jobs at risk in UK General restructure

Insurer makes changes to central services team.

UK General is to move its current central services team into its personal lines (schemes), Rural Insurance and One Commercial units putting 12 jobs at risk.

The Leeds-based insurer confirmed it was consulting with all affected staff and was seeking to minimise the number of compulsory redundancies.

It added that the process should be completed in late autumn, after which it would retain a small group function.

Group CEO Peter Hubbard explained that while the existing central function for UK
