Pen Underwriting appoints Jonathan Turner as executive chairman

Turner will work alongside managing director Mark Armitage.

Jonathan Turner has been appointed as the executive chairman for Pen Underwriting and will take up the role on 1 September.

He will work alongside Mark Armitage, Pen's managing director, to evaluate current capital arrangements and review how it can maximise its underwriting capability as well as look at new ways to provide capacity for customers.

Turner will report to Grahame Chilton, the chief executive of Arthur J Gallagher International.
