Refinance deal sees Higos target acquisitions

Venture capital trusts growth

Broker has refinanced with Clydesdale Bank.

Higos Insurance Services is eyeing further acquisitions after securing a new funding package from Clydesdale Bank.

The broker, which employs over 250 staff across offices in the south and south-west of England, said it has made more than 40 acquisitions since it was established by managing director Ian Gosden in 1990.

Higos added that it refinanced with Clydesdale in light of the bank's dedicated focus on the insurance intermediary sector.
