The Zurich Insurance Masters: Battle commences

Brokers praise conditions as they vie with each other.

As brokers compete in The Zurich Insurance Masters, one clear winner so far has been the conditions and the course at Carden Park Golf Club in Cheshire.

"The course is in great condition," said Andy Weir, director of Greenwood Insurances in Glasgow, after he had played three holes. "There's no excuses."

It wasn't all plain sailing though as Weir pointed out. "The last hole was tougher than I expected when I ended up in the bunker."
