Paul Matthews exits Thistle

The CEO of Thistle, JLT’s managing general agent business, has left.

Thistle Insurance Services CEO Paul Matthews has left the business according to documents filed with Companies House.

Matthews took up the position in July 2012 and joined from Footman James, taking over from James Twining who was filling in the role on an interim basis following Adrian Girling stepping down in January 2012. Twining is now JLT commercial director.

Thistle is the managing general agent arm of JLT. JLT has not responded to requests for comment.
