Jelf boss dismisses Aon takeover speculation

Group chief executive Alex Alway says client focus for Jelf pays rewards.

Alex Alway has dismissed growing market speculation of takeover talks with Aon.

"Nothing is going on," Alway told Insurance Age.

He added that it was not just a case of no talks with Aon, the firm is not speaking to anyone.

"I can categorically tell you that I am not in any discussions," he continued noting that as a listed firm the stock exchange would have to be informed.

And he added that he would "probably not" welcome any approaches as the firm has clear objectives for the next two to three
