Moorhouse apologises for failures leading to FCA fine

Moorhouse Group has apologised for failures in the sale of add-on products which led to it being fined £159,300 by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

The insurance broker said the issues identified by the watchdog were addressed 18 months ago and that it will be contacting any customers who may have been affected.

The regulator fined Moorhouse Group today for failures relating to the oversight and control of its telephone sales and in particular the sale of commercial vehicle add-on
