Fraudsters staged seven collisions with buses in Chester.

Ten fraudsters have been found guilty of conspiracy to defraud at Manchester Crown Court today for their roles in a million-pound crash-for-cash scam.

They staged seven collisions with First Bus vehicles in Chester after loading each of them with fake passengers who submitted over 200 personal injury claims totalling more than £1m.

In each of the collisions a car, and in one case a van, deliberately drove into a bus.

The incidents took place over a 15-month period starting from October 2010 and
