Gocompare welcomes FCA social media guidance
Aggregator says it doesn't rely on the medium to drive business.
Gocompare.com has welcomed the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) guidance on using social media for financial promotions.
The aggregator told Insurance Age that social media networks are ever-changing so the guidance for all financial services companies is a good first step.
The FCA's recently issued document notes that any form of communication is capable of being a financial promotion if it includes an invitation or inducement to engage in financial activity.
