Niche markets broker intends to open offices in California and Singapore.

Niche markets broker La Playa is planning to open two new international offices in order to facilitate its private client and transatlantic business.

Founder and CEO Mark Boon told Insurance Age that the broker, which has offices in Cambridge, London and New York, was aiming to open in Singapore and probably San Francisco by the end of the year.

He explained: "The plan is very much around the four sectors we are in [private client, fine art, media and entertainment, and science and technology]
