Colin Marshall resigns as CEO of Besso

Marshall to remain with Lloyd's broker until June.

Colin Marshall has resigned as the chief executive officer of Lloyd's broker Besso.

A spokesperson said he will stay in post until around June this year and his decision to leave is entirely amicable.

Marshall was one of the founding members of Besso following a management buy-out in 1985 which led to the creation of the business in its current form.

He managed the professional indemnity division from 1986 until 2000 when he became the chief executive.
