Rural Insurance launches online product for smallholders
Insurer says it responded to feedback from rural brokers and plugged gap in the market.
Rural Insurance has launched a product which it says will be the first to be available to brokers via a new online platform developed with software company Transactor Global Solutions.
The firm said its online rural insurance cover is designed to plug a gap in the agricultural smallholders' market.
It gives homeowners with some land or hobby farmers with fewer than 50 acres access to insurance and plugs the gap between standard home cover and policies for full-time working farms according to the
