Towergate to close Berwick office
Consolidator says it is committed to operating in the Scottish borders.
Towergate is to close its office in Berwick in northern England, close to the border with Scotland, as it reorganises its services in the region.
The consolidator said employees based in that office will be invited to consider roles in other local offices.
The company declined to comment on how many employees are involved, whether they are being offered the same roles or different ones elsewhere or on the outcome if employees turn down such offers.
