Brokers missing out on business, says claims company MD

Brokers are missing out on a significant amount of business through underinsured clients according to the managing director of a claims and appraisals company.

Ian Whittock, who set up Evoque, said: "From our experience, if a client is underinsured it tends to be across all areas rather than just one or two specific ones.

"Some clients are very good at updating sums insured as the policy renews year on year, however the majority may not review theirs for a number of years."
