Phillip Walter leaves CEO role at Avantia Insurance

New CEO expected to be confirmed before the end of the week.

Phillip Walter is no longer chief executive at Avantia Insurance a filing at Companies House has confirmed.

The document submitted on 8 January revealed that Walter's directorship was terminated on 31 December 2014.

Walter joined the business in March 2013 and was previously chief executive at technology firm Insurecom for over six years until May 2011.

Avantia undertook a £57m management buy-out backed by private equity firm ECI Partners in March last year.
