Edward Bruce, managing director at Edinburgh-based Bruce Stevenson, tells us how the firm performed in 2014 and talks about what surprised him most this year.

How has your business's 2014 been?

A good year. Another year of double-digit growth and some excellent new staff.

What will you be doing for Christmas?

Relaxing with the family and hopefully not burning the Christmas dinner as it's my turn to cook for everyone!

What are your hopes for insurance in 2015?

More of the same - double-digit
