Tasker buys licensed trade sector broker

Tasker Insurance Group snaps up Dartford-based Pro Hospitality.

Tasker Insurance Group (TIG) has bought Pro Hospitality (PHL) for an undisclosed sum.

PHL primarily operates in the licensed trade sector, where it trades as Pro-Publican and is broker for several of the UK's major breweries as well as representing thousands of independent landlords and publicans.

It was founded by Nicholas and Amanda Stretton in 1997 who will both exit the business following the acquisition.

TIG have been providing administrative services to PHL under an outsourcing agreement
